Questions?
Let's paint
the picture.
Are KUM children's brushes and the paint box free of harmful substances?
Yes. The fine-hair watercolour and bristle brushes are free of formaldehyde and other toxins, and the paint box is free of toxins and CE-marked.
What's the difference between the bristle brush and the fine-hair watercolour brush?
The bristle brush has a flat shape for large areas, gradients and crisp edges. The fine-hair watercolour brush is round and, depending on the pressure applied, works for fine details and lines or larger areas.
What is KUM School & Art?
An animal-friendly alternative to traditional natural-hair brushes like pony or ox-ear hair, in our range for over 30 years — as a single brush in 15 sizes (flat or round) or as a brush set.
How many colours does the KUM paint box have?
12 colours in replaceable pans, plus a tube of opaque white for lightening. The lid has practical mixing fields.
What age are the KUM children's brushes suitable for?
For kindergarten and primary school children as well as adults in art classes — being formaldehyde-free makes them safe for young children, while the high absorption capacity and even colour release suit any age.
